IPP

IPP is Internet Printing Protocol as defined in RFC 2910 and RFC 2911. It is a new standard for printing which replaces LPD in Unix systems. IPP is implemented by Linux, Mac OS X and Windows as well as many printers. The best known IPP implementation is CUPS, the Common Unix Printing System.
